Fatal Hammersmith shooting death of Jordan Oliver Rodney – Obituary

Jordan Oliver Rodney, a 30-year-old man from Northolt, was tragically killed following a double shooting in Hammersmith. Police responded to reports of gunfire on Claxton Grove at 11:19 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men with gunshot wounds who were both rushed to the hospital.

 

Sadly, Jordan Rodney succumbed to his injuries the next day, June 12. A post-mortem examination was conducted to determine further details. The second victim, also in his 30s, was treated and later released from the hospital.

 

Authorities charged 28-year-old Jahmel Joseph of Eaton Rise, Ealing, with multiple offenses including murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of a prohibited weapon, and dangerous driving.

He appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on July 14 and was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on July 18.

 

In a heartfelt statement, Jordan’s family expressed their profound grief, describing him as a warm, funny, and loving individual whose kindness and humor left a lasting impact on everyone around him.

They emphasized that Jordan was much more than the circumstances of his death and asked for privacy as they mourn this devastating loss. The family also expressed gratitude for the support they have received during this difficult time.
