Aljon Mendoza dies in fatal Dinalupihan stabbing

Fatal Dinalupihan stabbing death of Aljon Mendoza – Obituary

Aljon Mendoza, 22, lost his life while his cousin, Gerald Perpuse, 26, was injured during a violent stabbing that occurred late Saturday evening, June 14, 2025, in Sitio Liaban, Barangay Colo, Dinalupihan, Bataan.

Police reported that Mendoza and Perpuse, both locals of the area, were engaged in a drinking session with three other individuals—Christian Alfonso, 28; Joven Sanque, 26; and Tomas Palason, 26—when a disagreement suddenly turned into a deadly altercation.

Perpuse sustained a stab wound beneath his left armpit, while Mendoza was critically injured with a stab to the left side of his chest. He was transported to J.C. Payumo Memorial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Jonathan Bautista.

Authorities confirmed that all three suspects were promptly taken into custody and remain under police supervision as the investigation continues.

Dinalupihan Police, led by Lt. Col. Marcelino Teloza, are currently working to uncover the motive behind the fatal incident and to finalize official documentation related to the case.
