Fatal Las Vegas motorcycle crash death of Yariel Penalver – Obituary

Yariel Penalver, a 28-year-old man from Las Vegas, lost his life Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident. Penalver was riding his 2016 Yamaha R6 when he collided with a garage located at 3291 S. Heritage Way, near the intersection of McLeod Drive and Karen Avenue.

According to information on Penalver’s Facebook profile, he worked as a lead operator for the Slotzilla zip line. He is survived by his wife, Mily Abarca, and their young son. Family and friends gathered Sunday evening near the crash site to hold a candlelight vigil in his memory. A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist his wife with funeral costs.

The fundraiser page describes him as “a wonderful person, a great father and husband, and loved by many.” It closes with a heartfelt message: “Ride in Paradise big brother.”
