Kelvorius Epperson dies in fatal Fairfield County car crash

Fatal Fairfield County car crash death of Kelvorius Epperson

A 28-year-old man from Sumter, Kelvorius Epperson, lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in Fairfield County over the weekend, officials have confirmed.

According to Fairfield County Coroner Chris Hill, the incident occurred on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in the area of Molly Creek Landing near Lake Wateree, close to Ridgeway. Epperson sustained severe injuries and was later pronounced dead as a result of the collision.

The Fairfield County Coroner’s Office, along with the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Department, is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
