Bailey Griffin dies in fatal York County motorcycle crash

Fatal York County motorcycle crash death of Bailey Griffin

Bailey Griffin, 27, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle accident early Sunday morning in York County.

The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. on Catawba Church Road near Springdale Road. Authorities reported that Griffin was riding southbound on a 2021 Harley-Davidson when the motorcycle veered off the left side of the road and collided with a ditch.

Griffin was pronounced dead at the scene by the York County Coroner’s Office.

No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
