Fatal Ventura pedestrian accident death of Jasmineliney C. Rosales

Authorities have released the identity of a woman who tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle while walking in Ventura on June 12. Jasmineliney C. Rosales, 35, from Ventura, was named by the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office.

At approximately 8:55 p.m., Rosales was walking along Olivas Park Drive and Seaborg Avenue when a two-vehicle collision occurred behind her, as reported by Ventura Police. One of the vehicles involved in the crash hit her.

She was immediately transported to Ventura County Medical Center, where she later succumbed to injuries caused by blunt-force trauma, according to authorities.

The drivers involved in the crash stopped and cooperated with the authorities at the scene, with one driver sustaining a minor head injury and being transported to a hospital for treatment.
