London Man Cimarron Dume-Gooden Arrested in Croydon for 2021 Murder

LONDON, ENGLAND — Cimarron Dume-Gooden, a 32-year-old man of no fixed address, was arrested in Croydon in connection with the 2021 murder of Leroy Mitchell.

 

According to the Metropolitan Police, Dume-Gooden was charged on Monday, June 16, 2025, with murder and perverting the course of justice. Authorities say the incident took place on October 2, 2021, when officers were called to Birdhurst Road in Croydon shortly before 5 a.m. following reports of a man being shot in a car park after leaving a silent disco. Leroy Mitchell, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency services’ efforts.

 

Dume-Gooden appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, and has been remanded into custody.

 

Another suspect, Alpacino Veii, 28, was previously charged in connection with Mitchell’s murder. Veii’s trial is scheduled to begin in February 2026.
