Amanda Davis dies in fatal Lubbock car crash

Fatal Lubbock car crash death of Amanda Davis

Authorities in Lubbock are investigating a deadly collision that occurred Tuesday morning in the central part of the city.

Emergency responders were dispatched shortly after 11:00 a.m. to the 3800 block of 58th Street following a report of a traffic accident involving injuries.

When officers arrived, they discovered 37-year-old Amanda Davis suffering from critical wounds. She was rushed to Covenant Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead.

Preliminary findings suggest that Davis collided with a parked vehicle. Investigators have stated that neither alcohol nor drugs are believed to have contributed to the crash.

A passenger in Davis’ vehicle sustained only minor injuries in the incident.
