Fatal Toledo shooting death of Eric Wright

Early Sunday morning in Toledo, tragedy struck when Eric Wright was fatally shot on Mulberry Street.

Toledo police responded to a Shot Spotter alert around 4:30 a.m. on June 15 and found Wright in an alley, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Despite emergency efforts, Wright was declared dead at the scene.

Authorities have classified the case as a homicide and continue to search for leads.

No suspects have been named at this time, and the investigation remains active.
