Fatal Hampton Bays hit-and-run death of Sara Burack

Sara Burack, a 40-year-old real estate agent known for her appearance on Netflix’s “Million Dollar Beach House,” lost her life in a tragic hit-and-run incident in Hampton Bays, New York.

 

She was found unresponsive early Thursday morning, June 19, along Montauk Highway near Villa Paul Restaurant. Authorities believe she was struck by a vehicle, based on the nature of her injuries.

 

The driver involved in the incident left the scene and remains unidentified. As of Thursday evening, the investigation into the crash was still active.

 

Law enforcement officials have not released any details about the vehicle involved and are appealing to the public for any information that could assist with the case.

 

Burack worked for Nest Seekers International, a luxury real estate firm based in Southampton. She gained national attention in 2020 through her role on the first season of Netflix’s real estate reality show.

 

According to her LinkedIn profile, she joined the firm in 2012 and was actively engaged in various philanthropic efforts, supporting organizations such as ASPCA, Southampton Animal Shelter, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in New York City.

 

In the wake of her passing, production designer Victor San Andrés expressed his grief on Instagram, calling for the person responsible to come forward. He wrote, “My dear friend Sara was killed by some hit and run a–hole. Turn yourself in you d–k. RIP Sara, you were dope AF.”
