A single-vehicle collision on the southwest side of Indianapolis early Friday morning resulted in the death of 26-year-old Alec Xavier Ivy, according to local authorities.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of Mann and West Southport roads shortly after 3:15 a.m. on June 20, 2025, following reports of a serious crash.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office later confirmed that Alec Ivy died in the accident.

The crash prompted the temporary closure of the intersection for several hours while an investigation was conducted.
