Ashley Hudson dies in fatal Milwaukee shooting

Fatal Milwaukee shooting death of Ashley Hudson

Ashley Hudson, 30, was fatally shot at close range by her 15-year-old brother during an altercation near MLK Drive and Vliet in Milwaukee on June 16, according to court documents.

The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. outside Brewery Credit Union. Video evidence showed Hudson being attacked by two of her sisters with a baseball bat before the younger brother intervened, drawing a handgun and shooting her.

Authorities spoke with the family’s mother, who witnessed the shooting and identified her son as the shooter. The teen initially denied being at the scene but later admitted to firing the fatal shots when shown cellphone footage.

When informed of his sister’s death, the teen responded indifferently and expressed readiness to accept punishment for his actions.

Hudson’s 21-year-old sister, Aaliyah Frison, faces an aggravated battery charge, while their 48-year-old mother, Tara Hudson, was charged with obstructing an officer.

The 15-year-old accused is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 20.
