Fatal Anderson County crash death of Melissa Worley

Melissa Worley, 52, has been identified as the woman who died following a two-vehicle collision in Anderson County.

The crash took place on Thursday around 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of E. Church Road and Ridge Road.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided aid to multiple victims. Worley was airlifted to Prisma Greenville but succumbed to her injuries the following day, Friday, June 20.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
