Kenneth Washington, a 37-year-old man from North Charleston, lost his life in a motorcycle crash that occurred on the I-26 on-ramp, according to the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.

Officials reported that the incident happened on June 14, and Washington was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries he suffered in the single-vehicle motorcycle accident.

The Charleston County Coroner, Bobbi Jo O’Neal, confirmed Washington was operating the motorcycle at the time of the crash.

The North Charleston Police Department is leading the ongoing investigation into the fatal incident.
