Bangor police have officially identified the individual who lost his life in a vehicular accident occurring in Bangor the previous Friday afternoon. The incident took place at the junction of Bomarc Avenue and Burleigh Road.
The deceased was identified as Joshua Tidwell, a resident of Old Town, aged 41. He was operating his motorcycle when it collided with a tractor trailer at the specified intersection. Law enforcement reports indicate that Mr. Tidwell did not survive the impact, as he passed away at the scene where the collision happened. The driver of the commercial truck involved has not been named at this point by the authorities, although it’s understood that this operator is currently assisting investigators with their ongoing probe into the incident.
