The incident began around the stroke of 7:20 p.m. on Jarmon Lane, situated near Jarmon Trail, within Colbert County, as two motor vehicles collided in a serious accident occurring on that specific Sunday evening, June 23, 2025.
Initial reports from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency indicate that Jaheim Q. Greene, a 23-year-old motorcyclist, was the individual who lost his life, having been involved in the collision with another driver.
The collision involved Greene’s 2013 Honda CRF450R motorcycle and a 2022 Ford Mustang being operated by an 18-year-old person at the scene.
During the crash, Greene was ejected from his motorcycle and tragically, there is no record that he was wearing a protective helmet at the moment of the accident.
Following the event, medical personnel transported him to North Alabama Regional Hospital, but despite the efforts made, he unfortunately did not survive and passed away due to the severe injuries sustained.
The ongoing investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is examining the circumstances surrounding this fatal motor vehicle accident to determine the contributing factors.
