Fatal Keene, New Hampshire shooting death of Christian Walker
The Orange teenager, Christian Walker, 17, has died following injuries sustained in a Wednesday early morning shooting incident in Keene, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office. The incident is being treated as a homicide. Police were dispatched to Winchester Street’s parking lot after receiving a 911 call around midnight. Upon arrival, responders found Walker, who was transported to Cheshire Medical Center. Medical examiners later confirmed his death occurred at approximately 1:49 a.m. from a single abdominal gunshot wound. Dr. Abigail Alexander, the Associate Medical Examiner, made this determination official. The Attorney General’s office has confirmed Walker’s death was ruled a homicide. Authorities stated while the full circumstances are still under investigation, all individuals involved have been identified. There is currently no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
