Fatal Horry County, Bucksport car crash death of Eddrick Brown
The Horry County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the individual who lost their life following a collision on Tuesday evening in the Bucksport region. The deceased, identified as Eddrick Brown, a Bucksport resident aged 48, was the pedestrian involved in the incident.
WMBF News reports the fatal accident occurred late Tuesday night, specifically around 9:20 p.m. on Port Harrelson Road, just one mile before its intersection with Jerusalem Road. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Brown was struck by a westbound 2015 Buick Enclave. The Coroner, Tamara Willard, stated Eddrick Brown succumbed to severe blunt force trauma at the scene.
SCHP officials confirmed that the occupants of the vehicle were not injured. Responders from Horry County Fire Rescue were dispatched and attended the incident.
