Fatal Duluth motorcycle crash death of Benjamin Reese

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Duluth authorities confirmed Thursday that a 32-year-old man has been identified as the individual killed in a motorcycle collision that occurred earlier this week on Summit Ridge Parkway.

The Duluth Police Department reported the incident on Monday, June 23rd, when a rider died after losing control of their motorcycle in the grassy area located near the intersection of Summit Ridge Parkway and Tree Summit Parkway.

This news follows previous coverage of the motorcycle fatality in Duluth that was reported by the Atlanta News First earlier this month.

Investigators from the police department discovered Reese unresponsive in the grass, away from the road, near the location where his motorcycle was found. Emergency medical services pronounced him deceased at the scene.

According to the findings from the crash site and accounts from witnesses, it was determined that Reese lost control while traveling north on Summit Ridge Parkway and subsequently crashed into the nearby vegetation.

The ongoing investigation continues as authorities work to piece together all available evidence related to this tragic event.
