A cyclist was pronounced deceased on the scene after a collision with a cargo truck occurred in Boring on Monday. Law enforcement officials stated that the incident resulted in the death of an individual who was involved in the accident.
Upon receiving a dispatch, authorities from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the intersection of Southeast Orient Drive and Southeast Joette Drive roughly at 3 p.m. They encountered an injured cyclist lying on the ground, with bystanders already providing emergency resuscitation measures.
Even after the responding medical teams took over the life-saving efforts, the person, confirmed to be Jeremy Alexander Taylor, a 40-year-old, was declared dead at the location due to injuries sustained in the crash.
Investigators conducted interviews with witnesses and the truck driver at the crash site. The case is currently being examined for further details, and no charges have been recorded.
