Initial reports received by State Police troopers assigned to the Berlin Barrack around 4:21 a.m. detailed a pedestrian collision on Route 12, commonly known as Snow Hill Road, near Carmean Road. According to early findings from the investigation, Lamb was walking along Snow Hill Road when he was struck by a motor vehicle. The involved vehicle stayed at the scene, and preliminary assessments by law enforcement suggest that factors related to impairment were not considered relevant to the incident.
