Paul Pomerleau Dies in Fatal Middleboro Stabbing

Fatal Middleboro stabbing death of Paul Pomerleau

A man faces murder charges following a stabbing incident in a Middleboro home on Saturday evening. One individual lost their life, and Andrew Horsman, 41, is the person charged with the killing. Horsman was arrested near the location without issues.

Plymouth County authorities identified the deceased as 66-year-old Paul Pomerleau. According to the investigation, Pomerleau suffered multiple stab wounds. Emergency medical services transported him to a hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after the attack.

The District Attorney’s office confirmed Horsman’s identity as the suspect. Investigators learned Pomerleau was in a long-term relationship with Horsman’s mother. Sources stated a disagreement at the residence escalated into the fatal violence.

Horsman’s next court appearance is scheduled for Monday in the District Court of Wareham.

Middleboro, a community with a population of approximately 24,000, is situated roughly 40 miles south of Boston.
