Fatal Marinette County motorcycle crash death of Jerin Bucher of Green Bay
A fatal motorcycle accident on Saturday morning in Marinette County claimed the life of a sixteen-year-old resident. Authorities received a call shortly before ten o’clock about a traffic incident on Loucks Road near England Road in the Town of Grover, initially mistaken for an all-terrain vehicle mishap but later confirmed to be a sport bike crash.
Investigating officers determined that the motorcycle, which was headed westbound on Loucks Road, experienced a loss of control, veering off the roadway and crashing into a drainage ditch. Initial findings suggest that excessive speed may have contributed to the incident. The young driver, identified as Jerin Bucher from Green Bay, did wear his helmet at the time of the collision and was confirmed deceased by medical personnel on the scene.
Both the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the local medical examiner’s office are continuing their probe into the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
