Fatal Minneapolis incident death of Seloman Robiel Kebede
Officials from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office have confirmed the identity of a man whose body was located near Target Field in downtown Minneapolis. Earlier, authorities had distributed a likeness and solicited public assistance to help determine who the individual was.
The discovery occurred at approximately 9:45 p.m. on June 13, when emergency responders encountered an unconscious person on 7th Avenue. Medical professionals later confirmed that the individual was deceased after receiving treatment at a nearby healthcare facility.
Sunday brought the announcement that the deceased was 24-year-old Seloman Robiel Kebede. Prior to this identification, the Medical Examiner’s Office faced challenges in verifying the man’s background and turned to community members for information. Visual details, including attire and a composite image, were disseminated to aid in the search.
Investigators have not yet concluded the circumstances surrounding his demise, with ongoing probes into the matter.
