Fatal crash in Burkesville Road in Barren County, KY death of Corey Elam
Kentucky authorities report a tragic loss of life on Saturday night involving a serious traffic incident on Burkesville Road. Kentucky State Police were alerted to the critical situation shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday.
Initial inquiries by state troopers and local law enforcement indicate 59-year-old Ricky Parsons was allegedly positioned beside the roadway when he was struck by an eastbound 2017 Dodge vehicle traveling in the left lane on KY-90. The Barren County Coroner’s office confirmed Parsons did not survive the collision at the scene.
This fatal accident is currently being examined by the investigating agency.
