Fatal Fresno car crash death of Rany Oeur
The Fresno coroner officially identified the deceased woman Monday. She was involved in a serious two-car collision. The incident occurred on June 28 at 10:48 a.m. at the intersection of Huntington and Chestnut avenues.
Preliminary reports from law enforcement indicate a Chevrolet Camaro was moving southbound on Chestnut Street when it was struck by a white Lexus. The Lexus driver crossed into the path of the Camaro, resulting in the collision which also damaged a nearby metal barrier.
Rany Oeur, who was inside the Lexus, sustained injuries that led to her death at Community Regional Medical Center. Another individual involved in the Lexus was transported to the hospital for treatment, though their exact condition remains unknown. The driver of the Camaro was reported to be in stable condition after receiving medical attention.
Police authorities are currently working to determine the cause of this tragic event. They have not yet released further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the collision.
