Fatal Dakota County vehicle accident death of Jamie Leeann Wagner

A fatal vehicle collision involving a motorcycle occurred in a rural section of Dakota County late Friday afternoon. According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, the motorcycle passenger died as a result of the incident.

Jamie Leeann Wagner, who was 33 years old and lived in Rosemount, was pronounced dead at the scene. The fatal crash happened around 5:45 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 46/Brandel Drive and U.S. 52 in Coates.

The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
