KENNETH SERZYNSKI DIES IN FATAL BOONE COUNTY PLANE CRASH

Fatal Boone County plane crash death of Kenneth Serzynski

Kenneth Serzynski, a resident of Beach Park in Illinois who was 74 years old, was identified by authorities as one of two people killed in a small airplane mishap that happened on Saturday within Boone County.

Officials from Boone County confirmed that Kenneth Serzynski and another individual, Scott Wentz, who was 60 years old and from Grayslake in Illinois, lost their lives when their VANS RV10 aircraft impacted a cornfield located near the areas of Capron and Blaine Roads.

Emergency responders reached the crash site and discovered both individuals had passed away at the scene.

The National Transportation Safety Board is spearheading the ongoing examination of the accident. The Federal Aviation Administration and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office are also involved in the investigation.
