Fatal West Palm Beach car crash death of Christopher Du Prey
A 59-year-old man identified as Christopher Du Prey has passed away following injuries suffered in a two-car accident that took place on Saturday afternoon at the junction of Beeline Highway and North Haverhill Road, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The collision happened at approximately 4:48 p.m. on June 29, 2025. According to investigators, Du Prey, who was a resident of West Palm Beach, was driving a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound on Beeline Highway and attempted to turn left onto Haverhill Road when his vehicle was struck from behind by a 2016 GMC Sierra SLE, which was traveling eastbound in the inside lane.
Both vehicles involved in the crash collided at the intersection and remained stationary at the scene. Du Prey and the occupants of the GMC Sierra were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for medical treatment.
On the early morning of July 1, 2025, at 12:57 a.m., Du Prey was pronounced deceased at the hospital due to his injuries. His family has been informed of his death.
The driver of the GMC Sierra, a 34-year-old man named Dustin Kintz from Stuart, suffered minor injuries. His six-year-old son, Colton Kintz, was also reported to have minor injuries per the official report.
Law enforcement officials have stated that neither alcohol nor drugs is suspected to be a factor in the accident. The incident is currently being examined by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office’s Traffic Homicide Division.
