Wilmington authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual killed following a collision involving a motor vehicle and an electric bicycle. WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) — The Wilmington Police Department revealed that Michael Daniels, a 42-year-old man operating the electric bike, passed away at the scene of the incident occurring on Sunday evening.
Emergency services from the Wilmington Police Department arrived at the location, identified as the 300 block of South Kerr Avenue close to Emerson Street and Randall Parkway, shortly before 9 p.m. on July 6th. Mr. Daniels, who was the rider of the electric bicycle, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.
