Fatal Greenville County car crash death of Chasity Unique Nelson

The Greenville County Coroner’s office confirmed that a July 4th collision led to a fatality several days after the incident occurred. Responders were sent to the intersection involving Old Easley Bridge Road and White Horse Road around 8:30 p.m. on July 4. According to the coroner, the 15-year-old Chasity Unique Nelson was a passenger in the automobile that was part of the accident. She was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital following the crash. Tragically, Chasity passed away on July 8. The official ruling on her cause of death was an accident, attributed to blunt force trauma from the impact. FOX Carolina has contacted the South Carolina Highway Patrol to obtain more details about the accident and the other vehicle involved, but no response has been received yet.
