The Oconee County Coroner has officially named the individual who lost their life in the serious road incident near Seneca over the weekend.
The fatal accident occurred at the junction of Armstrong Road and Brown Farm Road, specifically around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The Coroner’s Office has released that 20-year-old Forde McIver succumbed to his injuries later that day, passing away at Prisma – Greenville Memorial Hospital at 3:44 p.m. on Monday.
Law enforcement authorities with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are currently examining the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
