Fatal Gold Bar car crash death of Wyatt J. Ivers
The Washington State Patrol confirmed that a Lynnwood man has died following a serious traffic incident on Friday afternoon. The accident happened on U.S. Highway 2 near Gold Bar, close to No Name Creek.
According to official reports, Ivers was involved in high-speed driving with another car. He was behind the wheel of a 2006 blue Subaru Impreza. While heading east on the roadway, he suddenly lost command of his vehicle. The car swerved off the path and ended up in a ditch nearby.
Emergency medical teams arrived quickly at the scene. However, they pronounced Ivers dead at the location. The investigation revealed that seatbelt use was not present and that drug influence was a factor in the mishap.
