Fatal Greene County car crash death of Sri Bejugam
A late-evening collision on Interstate 59/20 in Greene County, Alabama, resulted in a tragic two-car accident that led to multiple fatalities. The incident happened around 10 p.m., about seven miles south of Eutaw.
The crash involved a pickup truck and a minivan, with both vehicles catching fire after colliding head-on. Sri Bejugam, a 40-year-old from Aubrey, Texas, was a passenger in the minivan and died at the scene. The driver of the minivan, Tejaswini Cholleti, a 36-year-old from Aubrey, Texas, also perished in the accident. Additionally, two children, aged 6 and 8, who were traveling in the minivan, did not survive.
The driver of the pickup truck, Stephen Keele, a 45-year-old from Ellisville, Mississippi, was the other adult involved in the fatal crash.
Law enforcement agencies are still investigating the incident to determine the cause of the fiery collision and the events leading up to it.
