According to reports released by the Benton Police authorities, this man, who was 40 years old, met his demise when he was unfortunately hit by a vehicle. The incident transpired at approximately 5:15 in the early hours of July 23.
Detailing the circumstances, the police division stated that the operator of the car, identified as Lucas Forsythe, was under the wheel of a vehicle traveling along W. 5th Street at the time of the tragedy. In this specific case, Anthony Allen was crossing the road when the collision happened, leading to his unfortunate injury and subsequent death.
