The Caddo Parish Coroner’s office has identified a woman killed Monday in a serious traffic accident on Elizabeth Avenue.

The victim, identified as 55-year-old Christy Harris from Bossier City, was operating her vehicle when it experienced a single-point collision. According to available reports, she was traveling southbound on Elizabeth Avenue, proceeding towards Margaret Place, when her car contacted a tree and subsequently overturned completely. Emergency medical services transported Ms. Harris to Ochsner LSU Health hospital, but she was confirmed deceased upon arrival.
