John Landsiedel’s Death in Dillingham

John Landsiedel died in Dillingham, Alaska. The Fish and Game Commissioner, Doug Vincent-Lang, addressed the loss to Alaska’s News Source. He stated, “There are no words to describe the impact this has on his family, friends, and ADF&G with the loss of one of our own.” Vincent-Lang also expressed, “Our deepest condolences are with John’s family and loved ones.”

Commissioner McDaniel informed Alaska’s News Source that investigators are continuing to gather preliminary details about the situation. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed they were on their way to Dillingham on Friday afternoon. They contacted Alaska’s News Source, indicating they were en route to the area.
