The motorcyclist killed in a blaze near the South Side has been named as Chandler Krueger.

Officials released the identification from the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office, revealing the deceased was 25 years old.

Sunday’s crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. at the intersection of Southwest Military Drive and Logwood Avenue.

According to police, the man involved reportedly ran a red light on his motorcycle before colliding with a pickup truck.

The impact subsequently propelled Krueger into a second vehicle and ignited an explosion, causing the pickup truck to burst into flames.

The drivers of the other two vehicles received minor injuries and were treated on the scene.
