Officials from the county’s investigator, alongside a family relative, provided the names of the victims. The first teenager confirmed is Layla Chrissa Clemons, and the second is Jaea Chatman. Both were seventeen years of age at the time of the unfortunate passing.
Law enforcement personnel arrived at the accident scene after 9 p.m., responding to reports of an auto collision that had collided with a pedestrian. The location of the accident was at the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Bevan Road in West Sacramento. The incident is currently being treated as a targeted hit-and-run by the authorities.
