The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the Lake Tapps woman who died in a crash near Forest Canyon Road East as 42-year-old Stephanie Zuck. Her death occurred on July 25, the office reported in a statement. The official cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt-force injuries, with the manner of death recorded as an accident. According to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the scene around 11:15 p.m. Following their arrival, they confirmed that Zuck had no pulse. Evidence from the crash report indicated the vehicle had departed the road at a high speed before impacting a guardrail. The News Tribune reported that Zuck was driving the vehicle alone at the time of the incident.
