Fatal Wrentham car crash death of Paul Caouette
Massachusetts authorities reported Monday that a man from Seekonk died in a serious accident on Route 1 in Wrentham on Sunday. State Police informed MassLive that the deceased man is Paul Caouette, aged 72. According to State Police, the fatal collision occurred in the afternoon of Sunday, involving a large truck and a two-wheeled vehicle.
The incident happened in the northbound section of Route 1. Wrentham police alerted State Police troopers at the Foxborough Barracks about the fatal accident. MassDOT reported that the road’s left lane was closed temporarily due to the crash. All travel lanes were eventually reopened by 8:09 p.m.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and discovered Caouette without a vital pulse. State Police indicated they are continuing their examination of the accident.
