Fatal south of Yuba City car crash death of Timothy Daniel
The individual killed in the collision occurred Thursday morning, identified as Timothy Daniel, aged 61. The incident transpired around 8:45 a.m. on July 30 at the intersection of Highway 99 and Bogue Road, as stated by the California Highway Patrol.
According to the CHP, Amarjit Singh, a 65-year-old from Yuba City, was operating his white Nissan Rogue when it collided directly with Daniel’s Harley Davidson motorcycle.
Singh received minor injuries from the accident. His companion, a 33-year-old male also from Yuba City, experienced no reported injuries upon initial assessment by emergency responders.
Daniel was transported to Adventist Health/Rideout Medical Center via ambulance. Medical personnel later confirmed his death at the hospital at precisely 9:18 a.m.
California Highway Patrol officials have stated that neither drug consumption nor alcohol impairment were considered contributing factors in the fatal crash.
