Lavaughn Polk, aged 38, has passed away following a fatal car accident in Syracuse.
The fatal car crash involving Mr. Polk occurred Thursday morning in Syracuse.
According to Syracuse Police, Sgt. Thomas Blake confirmed that the man was located in a severe condition on the street near East Adams and South Townsend streets, approximately two blocks from Upstate University Hospital, shortly before 7:01 a.m. He was subsequently transported to the hospital.
The driver of the dump truck involved in the incident remained at the location and is assisting with the ongoing police investigation.
