Fatal Dunn County car crash death of Christopher Becker
Dunn County authorities have officially identified the individual who lost his life in a single-vehicle collision that occurred in the 3700 block of 420th Street near the city of Menomonie on Sunday evening. Officials from the local sheriff’s department confirmed that emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:10 PM to respond to the accident involving one automobile. Sheriff Kevin Bygd reported that the vehicle was moving in a southbound direction when the operator failed to properly navigate a curve, resulting in the car striking multiple trees within the area. Emergency responders managed to free the male driver from the wreckage, but despite their efforts, the individual was pronounced deceased at the location. On Tuesday, the Dunn County Sheriff identified the deceased as nineteen-year-old Christopher Becker, a resident of Menomonie. According to the sheriff, Dylan Thomas, who is eighteen years old and also from Menomonie, sustained injuries during the incident but is anticipated to make a full recovery.
