Fatal Midland Park hit-and-run death of Paul Adams
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced additional details regarding a fatal collision in Midland Park. This case is being investigated jointly by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Midland Park Police Department.
A pedestrian was involved in the incident on Godwin Avenue. The accident happened on Friday, October 11th at approximately 7:09 p.m. According to initial reports, the driver of the car involved fled the scene after hitting the pedestrian. The injured individual was identified as 70-year-old Paul Adams from Wyckoff. Emergency medical services transported him to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, but he later passed away.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office initiated a fatal accident investigation. Authorities are still examining the events leading up to and following the collision.
