Preliminary findings from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office indicate a collision between two vehicles occurred on Lakeshore Road near Willow Creek Lane. The incident took place at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Monday, July 28th. The 23-year-old male later confirmed as victim Cody T. Goetsch was traveling northbound when the collision occurred. According to the department, a southbound driver, identified as a 52-year-old man from Sheboygan, initiated a turn maneuver under questionable conditions. This maneuver resulted in an intersection crash with the northbound vehicle driven by Cody T. Goetsch.
The authorities have officially identified Cody T. Goetsch as the individual injured in the collision. Law enforcement personnel utilized emergency air medical services to transport him from the scene following the incident. Further examination indicates the driver of the southbound car experienced only minor injuries as a result of the collision.
During the initial inquiry, law enforcement personnel cited excessive speed as a contributing factor for the northbound vehicle’s driver. The southbound driver, Donald C.
