Fatal car crash death of Keira D’Ambra in Bristol Township

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office has officially recognized the identity of the eighteen-year-old woman killed during a single-vehicle accident in Bristol Township on July 27. This young woman, originally from Fairless Hills, had recently celebrated her eighteenth birthday and completed her secondary education.

According to preliminary reports, D’Ambra succumbed to injuries sustained when the vehicle she was occupying collided with a tree on Wistar Road, a location close to Armstrong Middle School, before 4 p.m. The preliminary investigation suggests the seventeen-year-old driver, also from Levittown, was operating the white 2002 Mustang at a high speed in the eastern direction when the collision happened. This driver was not D’Ambra.

In addition to the driver, two other individuals were present in the automotive compartment. D’Ambra, positioned in the rear seating area, was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township. Regrettably, her health condition deteriorated, resulting in her passing. The seventeen-year-old occupant in the front passenger seat also received medical attention at the same healthcare facility.

D’Ambra is being remembered by her community as a “warm-hearted, affectionate, and pleasant young lady whose laughter was infectious.” A ceremony to honor her memory will take place on Monday, August 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, located at 2200 Trenton Road in Levittown.

The local law enforcement, specifically the Bristol Township Police Department, is conducting a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding this incident.
