Lehigh Valley authorities have confirmed three fatalities resulting from motorcycle accidents across the region during the past weekend. Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek announced the first incident occurred on Saturday on East Central Avenue in East Bangor. Lysek confirmed that Elphick was the only person on the motorcycle involved and that his death resulted from multiple impacts, determined to be accidental.
Further details were provided by Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio regarding the second fatal accident, which took place at approximately 3:20 a.m. Sunday on West Tilghman Street in Allentown. Buglio identified the second victim as Stanley Aviles-Espaillat, aged 25, from Allentown. According to City police reports, Aviles-Espaillat was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Tilghman Street when he collided with another vehicle that was executing a U-turn. The motorcycle subsequently crossed into the opposite lane during the impact.
