Mealody Scheunemann dies in fatal Townville car crash

Fatal Townville car crash death of Mealody Scheunemann

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office was called to the scene after a serious accident in Townville, South Carolina.

Officials reported the fatal crash happened on Tuesday, around 4:15 p.m., at the junction of Old Dobbins Bridge Road, Andersonville, and Milford Road.

The deceased was identified as Mealody Scheunemann, who was 66 years old and from Seneca.

According to the responding troopers, Scheunemann was driving on Old Dobbins Bridge Road when she lost control of her vehicle. It then left the main road, hit an embankment, and rolled over. This resulted in her being thrown from the car.

An investigation is currently being conducted by the coroner’s office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol into this incident.
