Jeffrey Tuning, Amanda Benson, Kameilia Chavez, and Nicholas Mancuso, the four crewmembers on board the fatal flight, have now been identified. These four individuals lost their lives when the medical transport aircraft crashed.

Four people connected with a medical transport flight have been named. These individuals were killed when the aircraft they were in went down.

CSI Aviation, a company based in Albuquerque, has confirmed the identities of the crew. The four people who died were Jeffrey Tuning, a commercial pilot; Amanda Benson, another commercial pilot; Kameilia Chavez, a flight nurse; and Nicholas Mancuso, a flight paramedic.

The company released the names of the four crewmembers following the crash. These crewmembers died in an incident involving the company’s Beechcraft King Air aircraft last week near Chinle, Arizona.

The fatal accident for the crew happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5. The crash occurred close to the Chinle Municipal Airport.

CSI Aviation stated their Beechcraft King Air was providing air ambulance services at the time of the crash. Navajo sources indicated the crew’s original plan was to transport a patient from the Indian Health Service Hospital in Chinle before returning to Albuquerque.

William Collins, who is the Chief Operating Officer for CSI Aviation, expressed the company’s profound sadness. He mentioned that the company’s thoughts were with the families of the deceased crewmembers, Jeff, Amanda, Kami, and Nick. Collins said the company shared in their grief.

An ongoing investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSBB) is looking into the causes of the crash.
